Prompt #12

The pizza place was fairly quiet, despite being fairly full as far a little place like this goes. To the left of the bar I was sitting eating at, a family was sitting eating without much talking, and a woman at the table next to them was sitting with an impatient look on her face, presumably waiting for her food. Another couple of people were in the dining area to my right, but none of them were making too much noise either. Most of the sound in the store was from the smooth jazz playing overhead or the occasional clang of metal as somebody worked out back. The chef stood by the huge metal ovens spinning a pizza crust in the air, while a girl busily swept up floor. The quiet, dimly lit room mixes with the sound of rain outside to create a relaxed, warm atmosphere

  1. Maybe it's just the bad mood I'm presently in, but, as you describe it, this sounds like Pizza for Zombies! Too darned quiet! I want my pizza places rocking!

    :)

But you do a fine description of The House of Zombie Pizza, no complaints about the writing!
